In 2013 I developed The Adventures of Rue LaRue. This project was an interesting combination. I made the switch to higher-level game programming tools utilizing Lua, but I had to do a tremendous amount of hardware debugging. I had one foot in each of two diverging worlds.
While I had used Lua before here and there, it was this project that made me really fall in love with the language.
